Market Participant Confidential Reports Now Available in a New Location

You may now access market participant confidential settlement and financial reports in a new password-protected area of the IESO website. These reports are now available at: http://reports.ieso.ca/index.html

The reports in this new location will remain secure and users will no longer need to access them by logging onto Market Participant Interface (MPI) with their digital certificate.

However, users who submit bids/offers, upload forms, or view information in the metering web application (MV-WEB), must continue to login with their digital certificate.

Benefits
  • Users will have greater accessibility to reports and many will no longer need to maintain a digital certificate.
Impact
  • Users who wish to access market participant-specific reports will need a new username and password to access reports.
  • If you no longer need a digital certificate, the IESO will revoke your access to the Market Participant Interface (MPI).
  • Users with application programming interface (API) certificates may continue to access IESO confidential reports from the MPI. The IESO will communicate with users well ahead of time when the option to access reports from the MPI is no longer available.
What you need to get ready
  1. Obtain a user ID and password from the IESO to access confidential reports. The Market Entry group will contact each MP individually to set-up new user accounts and you can contact Market Entry directly at
    Email: market.entry@ieso.ca
    Tel: 905-403-6988
    Fax: 905-855-6407
  2. More information on the process to acquire access to confidential reports is available. Click here.

  3. Alter your application programming interface (API) to download confidential reports from new reports location. Please review the "Outbound Automated Document" for APIs.

  4. Determine if you still need your digital certificate to access the MPI. If you do not submit bids/offers, upload forms, or view information in MV-Web, please contact Market Entry to revoke your access.
