NPCC Seasonal Assessment Reports NERC annually publishes a long-term assessment of the reliability of the North American bulk electric system. The report projects electricity supply and demand, evaluates transmission system adequacy, and discusses key issues and trends that could affect reliability over a 10-year period. In support of this report, the IESO provides forecast demand and supply data. Note that the data is considered draft until the final report is published by NERC, usually in August or September. A seasonal assessment is also published.
