SE-58	May 8, 2008	+ Day-Ahead Forecast of Real-time Prices The IESO operates a real-time market in which electricity prices are determined in five minute intervals. A forecast of the next day�s real-time prices could provide both consumers and producers with an additional level of information to help them plan their operations. Through this process, the IESO will evaluate the costs and benefits of publishing a real-time price forecast.	May 2008
SE-56	Feb 28, 2008	+ High voltage revenue metering A market participant has been working with the IESO on a proposal to reduce the costs of upgrading revenue metering installations to meet the existing wholesale metering requirements. The goal of this stakeholder plan is to gather stakeholder feedback on the proposal to use the existing wholesale market settlement to process the administrative charge for smart metering. SE-46	Mar 28, 2008	+ Market Rules Content Policy Stakeholders have indicated that the markets rules are difficult to use and interpret. The IESO is proposing to implement a policy that would guide the scope and content of future market rule amendments. This policy would be used to determine what information is contained in the rules compared to other materials, such as the market manuals.	March 2008
SE-44	Apr 8, 2008	+ Mapping of Reliability Obligations One of the tasks required is for the IESO is to align or map the OEB licenses of market participants to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) entity definitions. The goal of this plan is to work individually with market participants to establish the appropriate NERC functional model entity designations that apply and associated standards obligations for each of their facilities. SE-43	Mar 11, 2008	+ Revisions to the Suspension, Termination and Disconnection Process Recent events have exposed gaps in the market rules relating to suspension and termination of a market participant and disconnection of a facility following an event of default. The IESO is contemplating changes to the market rules to reduce this risk by eliminating measures that duplicate legal protections available to a defaulting market participant outside of the market rules. SE-30	May 11, 2007	+ Ontario Resource and Transmission Assessment Criteria This market manual describes the criteria, guidelines and practices used in assessing the adequacy of the IESO-controlled grid, in assessing future transmission proposals, and for assessing new or modified connections to the grid. SE-29	Mar 19, 2008	+ Wind Power Integration in Ontario As a result of increased renewable energy generation supply in the province, the IESO is seeking stakeholder feedback to better understand the challenges proponents face in becoming operational in Ontario.	December 2007

A stakeholder engagement plan has been developed to involve stakeholders in assisting the IESO to mitigate any unintended consequences that exist with respect to CMSC payments to importers and exporters. SE-9	Nov 1, 2006	+ Dispatch Issues Improving the reliability and capability of existing resources by resolving ongoing dispatch issues is one of the areas that the IESO intends to address as part of its goal of enhancing the reliability of the power system in advance of the summer 2006. SE-7	Dec 1, 2005	+ Day-Ahead Commitment Process Design The IESO Board of Directors approved, on December 7, 2005, the proposed design of the Day-Ahead Commitment Process (DACP). The stakeholder engagement plan consists of two interrelated phases to support both the design and implementation phases of the initiative. This design phase involves soliciting stakeholder input on the development of the day-ahead commitment processes design. Upon finalization and approval of the design, stakeholder input will be solicited on its implementation. See SE-16 for the implementation phase.	December 2005

The IESO needs to confirm the market's position on this issue so that participant can make informed cost/benefit decisions in 2005 to enable them to budget and schedule the replacement of ITs if appropriate to their situation. These emergency control actions include voltage reductions, emergency energy purchases, and non-dispatchable load cuts. As a result of discussions with stakeholders, market rule and software changes to IESO systems need to be made.	June 2005
SE-2	Aug 1, 2005	+ Day-Ahead Needs and Priorities This plan involves a number of working sessions to develop and evaluate different alternatives to satisfy the day-ahead planning and operational needs of Ontario�s electricity sector. The Day-Ahead Commitment Processes (SE-7) will address interim arrangements over the coming months to ensure that measures are in place to enhance the reliability of the power system in advance of the summer of 2006.
